Avans University - the best university in the Netherlands for 2019!

Just recently, the results from the ranking Keuzegids HBO 2019 were published, according to which Avans University of Applied Sciences was named the best big university of applied sciences in the Netherlands for 2019 for fifth consequtive time. “Even as a large-scale educational institution, Avans knows how to reap the benefits of a small-scale learning model” are the words of Keuzegids. 

The results of this ranking are formed by the Dutch National Student Survey, study success rates, taken from the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and the assessments from the Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders NVAO.

New tuition fees in the Netherlands for the academic 2019/2020 year

If you are beginning your studies in the Netherlands next year, in the academic 2019/2020, then as a first year student you will pay €1041 tuition fee for the whole academic year. All other students in upper courses will pay €2083 for an academic year.

The conditions for students financing and student loan for EU students will stay the same, as before.

Visit Open Days at Hanze

Tuition fee for first year students will be -50%!

It is our pleasure to inform you that the government of the Netherlands officially took the desicion to make a reduction in the tuition fee for first year students. All students from EU countries, starting their bachelor studies this autumn will pay for the academic year 2018/2019 tuition fee of 1030 euro instead of 2060 euro. Hurray and congratulations! :)
