Historical, Literary & Cultural Studies (Research) is a two-year Master's program in English at Radboud University.

The program offers three specializations: Historical Studies, Literary Studies and Art and Visual Culture
By choosing Historical Studies you can specialize in one of the following areas: Ancient history, Medieval history, Economic, social and demographic history, Cultural history, Political history
Literary Studies is a specialization for talented students who wish to contribute to the (inter) national research in the field of ancient Greek tragedy, modern American literature or Dutch poetry. This master's specialization is ranked as number one in the Netherlands by Keuzegids Masters 2014 (Guide to Master's programs) in the category Researchmaster Letterkunde (Research Master literary studies).
Art and Visual Culture specialization is designed for highly motivated students who are interested in art and visual culture of Europe from antiquity to the present day, and have ambitions for an international career in these fields.

Main subjects: Theory of scientific research in Humanities, Methods and Techniques in Humanities, Contemporary Debates in Humanities, Academic Writing, Key Texts for Humanities
Possible careers: you may have an international scientific career, to become doctoral students and researchers at the Institute of History of Art and Cultural Heritage or to work as editors of historical and cultural periodicals, or to be curators in museums.
Admission requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Historical, Literary and Cultural Studies or related fields (average success) in the second and third year of your undergraduate education should be above 4.5 and the protection of your diploma is at least 5)

- IELTS certificate with a minimum of 7 points; TOEFL Internet version at least 100; Cambridge Certificate CAE or CPE
