The study route Wind Band Conducting is built on a rich tradition of woodwind and brass bands in the northern part of the Netherlands.
The Prince Claus Conservatoire already has a flourishing bachelor wind- and brass band conducting and has started this master in September 2014 to be able to offer students more depth. This study is aimed at conducting at a high level in the even changing professional practice.
After Graduating
As graduated master Wind Band Conducting you have become a top conductor who plays an active and innovative role in the national and international cultural landscape. A pro-active attitude in discovering new possibilities and work fields for the orchestra and yourself is distinctive. You point out broad social developments within the arts at an early stage and you can translate these to artistic policy and interesting artistic results.
