The Netherlands is one of the countries that offers flexibility in regard to its working students. This is the reason why many students are working. Examples can be from working in Mc Donald`s to assistant in engineering company in Eindhoven.

Piece of advice from UNIFY to its students, start looking for a job a year after your stay in the Netherlands. Your first study year is quite crucial and important for making a good foundation in your studies.

Student subsidiary:

If you have a min of 56 working hours a month, together with your salary you will get an extra student subsidiary from the government. It is around 386 euro per month.

Your salary in the Netherlands could be around 8-10 euro per hour. Students could expect an average salary around 300- 450 euro per month after taxation.
