Life Sciences at HAN University of Applied Sciences is a hands-on four-year Bachelors course that is taught in English. During your studies, you gain theoretical knowledge, but you also spend more than half of your time doing practical work. So when you graduate, you are well prepared for the job market.
The 1st year offers an orientation to the life sciences: you learn about fundamental theories and lab techniques. You apply your new knowledge in small group projects dealing with problems from the field of life sciences. These projects help you to develop your problem-solving and communication skills. They also give you an insight into current issues that are relevant to professional practice.
