During this programme, you will cover a variety of different subjects within the field of Information Technology. The content of the programme is closely linked to the professional practice. You will build a solid foundation for working in a wide range of jobs in the IT sector. There is a great demand for IT experts in both the public and commercial industry, so most of our students have jobs before they graduate. As an IT student in Haarlem, you can also take part in activities offered by Lepidoptera, a student association set up and run by our students.
Every year is divided into four terms. Terms are organised around a central theme, such as software development, interaction design and writing advisory reports. Learning methods are varied; you will attend lectures, take part in practical assignments and collaborate in project groups. You will also go on field trips, attend talks by professionals and do an internship.
Once you are graduated, your options are endless, all sorts of industries are looking for you. In upcoming years, thousands of extra job openings are expected. Think of future employers like Google, Accenture or KLM Air France.
