In the renowned QS World Universities Rankings by subject, NHTV is 37th in the category Hospitality & Leisure Management. For this ranking, more than 900 educational institutions worldwide were evaluated.
You can find the ranking here. NHTV is the only Dutch institution in this list, and we are the 13th among the European universities. NHTV has strong partnerships with many institutions in this top-50.
QS is one of the well-known publishers of university rankings worldwide. They publish their overviews of best universities every year: general listings, as well as listings by category. It is the first time that this category appears in the QS Rankings. The universities are evaluated on:
- academic recognition (80%). This is based on the opinion of academics in education and research institutions
- a survey of the industry / employers (15%)
- research output (5%), based on citations of publications in academic journals
