Saxion University of Applied Sciences was found in 1875 is one of the largest institutions of higher education in Holland. The students in Saxion are 24 000, 2400 of which are internationals from 55 nationalities as diverse as Indonesia, Germany, India, Norway, China, Taiwan, Russia, Brazil, Rwanda, Japan, Bulgaria, Poland, Lithuania, Vietnam, Romania, and Turkey.
